After the launch of our first ever 'Alnwick Beer Festival' back in 2007, we at Alnwick & District Round Table are very pleased with how the event has grown. Now in 2025, we are all very excited at the prospect of our 19th summer in the heart of Alnwick being a part of an event that brings so much joy to the the locals and those from further afield.

With the overwhelming success of last years festival, we've teamed up with Alnwick Markets to once again create an August Bank Holiday Weekend for Alnwick to be proud of.

The invention of Alnwick Town Festival came off the back of it being time for our own beer festival to expand, the need for a greater lineup of live acts to entertain as well as various family fun activities to keep the kids happy. With three days worth of live local talent on the main stage, a buskers stage running for four days alongside Alnwick Markets extended weekend market in Bondgate Within and the activities for families shared between the two... we have something for everyone this weekend. Our forte, of course, is the bar inside the tent; features 24 beers from both local and national breweries, a variety of beautiful ciders, spirits, wines, prosecco, soft drinks and slushies. Last year the event was once again a massive success drinking us dry of alcohol practically two nights running... with extra stock on it's way this year we hope we've prepared for just how eager you all are to try what's on offer!

The Alnwick Town Festival is now a firm favourite in Alnwicks calendar of events, come along, support and have a great bank holiday weekend on your doorstep!

​For this you will get:

• Entrance to the event
• Souvenir Pint Cup (pint glass to try the beers)
• Entrance for the whole weekend with your wristband

There will be plenty of beer on offer to test your taste buds. Please note that this is a charity event, so to save on waste and make the most we can for charity we do not want any beer left. This means as the event progresses the range of beers may reduce, to taste them all make sure that you get there early.

• Beer tokens can be purchased at the door – no money is exchanged within the venue.
• It costs £5 for 2 tokens.
• Tokens can only be purchased in multiples of 2.
• Most beers cost 1 token per half pint.
• Gin & Mixers are 2 tokens per drink
• Soft Drinks are available 
• Entrance is valid for the whole weekend once entrance is purchased

Online Wristbands sales have now stopped, but you can pay for entrance on the door with cash or card

Rules for the Festival

The Alnwick Beer Festival has a few simple rules and we urge everyone to abide by them.

1. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone that we consider to have consumed too much alcohol.
2. Young people, under the age of 21 should carry proof of age with them to ensure entry as licencing law demands that we refuse entry to anyone who we suspect is under 18 unless proof of age can be provided on request.
3. In accordance with the law, smoking will not be permitted inside.
4. No drinks will be served after 10.00pm.
5. Don't drink and drive. Designate a driver for the night - non-alcoholic drinks will be available.
6. Please help us keep the place clean by using the litter facilities.
7. Use the designated public car parking areas do not block the approach roads.
